Basic Archery Instructor Training- Denver

Dear Physical Education Teachers,

 

The Colorado Archery in the Schools Program is offering a Basic Archery Instructors (BAI) Course for certified teachers who wish to receive training to introduce archery into their school curriculum. This training can be a dynamic addition to your Physical Education curriculum. The course is an eight hour basic certification course taught by certified CASP instructors. Teachers attending the training will receive:

 

 

Basic Archery Instructor certification

Hands on experience in teaching archery skills in the classroom

A two week curriculum for classroom instruction

Information on grant applications and program funding

A certificate of professional development for eight hours of training

Courses are free of cost, lunch is provided

Each course begins at 7:30 am and ends approximately 3:00 pm

Over 150 Colorado teachers in 105 schools have already been trained in the program and are implementing the curriculum in their classrooms. Schools who have already received CASP training but wish to send additional or new teachers are welcome to register for the training.

The BAI training course is being offered on multiple dates from March to August 2010. If you are interested in attending one of the sessions, please complete the enclosed registration form and mail/fax or email it to me.
